Kuva Liches are powerful enemies in Warframe, introduced with Update 26, “The Old Blood.” They are Grineer super soldiers infused with Kuva, making them incredibly tough and resilient. Each Kuva Lich is unique, with its own name, abilities, and weapons.
1. Steps to Create a Kuva Lich
Before you can start dealing with Kuva Liches, you need to complete The War Within quest and reach Mastery Rank 5.
- Finding a Kuva Larvling: Go to any level 20+ Grineer mission (excluding Sorties, Void Fissures, Invasions, Quests, or Dark Sectors) and look for a Kuva Larvling. When you kill a Kuva Larvling, it will transform into a Kuva Lich. When you find your Larvling, Do not just go stabbing it, Look above it and see if that's the weapon you want. If it is; Stab it and extract. IF it's NOT the one you want you ignore it and extract. If you abort the mission that weapon stays in the queue and will return. By extracting, it removes the weapon from the queue.

2. Hunting Your Kuva Lich
Identify the Lich’s Influence
Your Kuva Lich will start to influence certain planets, stealing a portion of your loot from missions in those areas. It appears as a bloody red fog around the planet's atmosphere. The planets it will influence are, in order: Earth, Mars, Ceres, Sedna, and the Kuva Fortress, before inevitably fleeing to the Saturn Proxima.
Requiem mods
To defeat a Kuva Lich, you need Requiem Mods, which can be obtained from Requiem Relics. These relics can be farmed from Kuva Siphon and Kuva Flood missions, which appear on your Alerts tab in Navigation. You'll need to equip the correct sequence of Requiem Mods on your Parazon to weaken the Lich. Experiment with different combinations to find the correct order.
Defeating the Kuva Lich
Engage the Kuva Lich in combat. If you fail to defeat it, the Lich will rank up and become stronger, and flee to the next planet. Once you have the correct sequence of Requiem Mods, use your Parazon to drain the Kuva from the Lich. You can either convert or vanquish your Lich. If you convert your Lich, they will be an ally that appears in missions with you when you're struggling for a limited amount of time. If you vanquish the Lich, you kill them and obtain their weapon. With either option you choose, you'll still get all the items they stole back to you.
