Let’s dive into the world of Amps in Warframe. Whether you’re a seasoned Tenno or a new player, understanding Amps is crucial for enhancing your Operator’s combat capabilities. Here’s a comprehensive guide to get you started.

1. What Are Arbitrations?

• Amps are modular weapons wielded by your Operator—the character controlling all your Warframes.
• Similar to Kit guns, Amps grant unique fire modes based on the components used to assemble them.
• They play a vital role in fighting Eidolons and other challenging enemies.

2. Unlocking Amps:

Arbitration Rotations:

• Amps unlock after completing The War Within quest.
• Speak to Quill Onkko in Cetus to obtain your first Amp, the Mote Amp.
• Completing The New War quest also grants the pre-built Sirroco Amp.
• Future Amps are crafted by combining specific parts at either Quill Onkko or Little Duck.

Crafting Amps:

• An Amp consists of three components:
  • Prism: Primary fire mode.
  • Scaffold: Secondary fire mode.
  • Brace: Stat bonus.
• Remember the acronym: Primary Prism, Secondary Scaffold, and Bonus Brace.
• There are seven tiers for each part.
  • Tiers 1-4 from Quill Onkkoin Cetus
  • Tiers 5-7 from Little Duck in Fortuna.

Leveling and Gilding Amps:

• After crafting an Amp, use your Operator to level it up.
• Gilding is the process of making your Amp permanent and granting Mastery Points.
• Gild your Amp at Quill Onkko or Little Duck once it’s leveled.
