Focus Schools are specialized skill trees that enhance your Operator/Drifter’s abilities and provide unique passives. Whether you’re a new Tenno or a seasoned player, understanding Focus Schools is essential for maximizing your Operator’s potential.

1. Focus School Basics

Focus Schools are separate skill trees for your Operator. Each school offers different abilities, passives, and playstyles. You can unlock and switch between schools as you progress through the game.

2. Unlocking Focus Schools

To unlock Focus Schools, follow these steps:

Complete The Second Dream

• Progress through the main storyline until you reach this quest. Completing this quest introduces you to the concept of Focus and unlocks your Operator/Drifter's abilities.

Complete The War Within

• After completing the Second Dream, continue the story to unlock The War Within. Completing this quest allows you to choose and specialize in a specific Focus School.

3. Choosing a School

• Once you've unlocked Focus, visit the focus menu in your Orbiter. You'll have five schools to choose from.

1. Madurai: Offense-oriented, increases damage output
2. Naramon: Focused on melee combat and agility
3. Unairu: Provides offense support
4. Vazarin: Offers defensive support
5. Zenurik: Focuses on energy management

4. Focus Nodes and Abilities

• Each focus school has a set of nodes that you can unlock using Focus Points. Nodes enhance your Operator's abilities, grant passives, and improve gameplay. Spend focus points to unlock nodes that align with your playstyle.

5. Waybounds and Eidolon Shards

Waybound Nodes

• Waybounds are special nodes that enhance your Operator's abilities and passives. They require Eidolon Shards to unlock. Waybounds can be used across different Focus Schools; unlock them strategically based on your preferences.

Eidolon Shards

• Eidolon Shards are obtained by dismantling Waybounds or converting focus points. Use them to unbind Waybound nodes.

6. Focus Farming

To earn focus points, engage in activities that grant Affinity to your Operator.

1. Eidolon Hunts: Defeat Eidolons on the Plains of Eidolon.
2. Sanctuary Onslaught: Participate in Elite Sanctuary Onslaught missions.
3. Focus Lenses: Equip focus lenses on your gear to convert Affinity into focus points.

7. Tips and Tricks

Focus Lenses

Attach focus lenses onto your Warframes, weapons, and companions. Lenses convert a portion of earned Affinity into focus points for the equipped school.

Daily Focus Cap

There's a daily cap to how much focus you can earn. Focus farming becomes more efficient when you reach higher Mastery Ranks.
