Let’s explore the world of K-Drives. Whether you’re a seasoned Tenno or a new player, understanding K-Drives is essential for zipping around the open worlds in style. Here’s a comprehensive guide to get you started:

Obtaining Your K-Drive:

To unlock the ability to use K-Drives, follow these steps:

• Complete the Vox Solaris Quest: This questline begins in Fortuna on Venus.
• Visit the Ventkids Faction: You’ll find them in the lower levels of Fortuna.
• Purchase Your First K-Drive: Eudico will provide you with the basic K-Drive Hoverboard. Add it to your gear wheel in your Arsenal.

Customizing Your K-Drive:

Once you have your K-Drive, it’s time to make it your own:

• Ventkids Clubhouse: Visit the Ventkids Clubhouse in Fortuna.
• Graffiti and Skeg: Keep an eye out for graffiti and listen for Skeg sounds coming from the ducts. These indicate Ventkids activity.

Gathering K-Drive Components:

• Browse the Ventkids Wares: Here, you can purchase various K-Drive parts.
• Specific Mods: Buy K-Drive mods using Standing. These mods enhance your K-Drive’s performance, tricks, and durability.

Assembling Your K-Drive

• Talk to Roky in the Ventkids Clubhouse.
• Preview or assemble your K-Drive if you have the required parts.

Components needed:

• Board: The main part that grants Mastery.
• Reactor: Enhances performance.
• Nose: Affects handling.
• Jet: Influences speed.

K-Drive Races:

• Gain Standing with the Ventkids by completing K-Drive races.
• Look for purple markers on the Orb Vallis map (default key: M) to find Boon and start a race.
• Race through checkpoints, perform tricks, and aim for the fastest time to earn Standing.

Infested K-Drive:

• Grandma on Deimos offers a new type of K-Drive: the Infested K-Drive.
• Visit Roky in Fortuna to build your Infested K-Drive.
