Necramechs are powerful, bipedal mechs that you can pilot in certain missions. Whether you’re a new Tenno or an experienced player, understanding how to obtain and use Necramechs is essential.

1. What is Necramech?

Necramechs are large, bio-mechanical war machines. You can pilot them during specific missions, such as in open-world missions like the Cambion Drift on Deimos or during Orphix Venom missions. Necramechs provide heavy firepower, mobility, and unique abilities. As of Update 29.9, there are only two Necramech archetypes players can craft: Voidrigs and Bonewindows.

2. Obtaining Your First Necramech

To obtain your first Necramech, complete these steps:

Complete the “Heart of Deimos” Quest

Progress through the main storyline until you reach the “Heart of Deimos” quest. This quest automatically unlocks after opening the Mars Junction on Earth. Completing the quest introduces you to the living moon of Deimos and the Entrati Family that inhabits it. The quest will provide you with the five blueprints necessary to craft a Voidrig.

Craft the Voidrig Necramech

To craft your Voidrig Necramech, follow these steps:

1. Collect Damaged Necramech Parts: Participate in Isolation Vault Bounties on the Cambion Drift. Destroy hostile Necramechs during the bounties to obtain Damaged Necramech Parts. You’ll also have a random chance of acquiring Orokin Matrices as a reward, which you can use to rank up the Necraloid Syndicate and purchase Damaged Necramech Parts directly.
