Cetus is an Ostron-built village market located on Earth, north of Mantle. It serves as the central hub for the Plains of Eidolon1. Plains of Eidolon
The Plains of Eidolon is an expansive, open landscape connected to Cetus. It features various fields, hills, caves, and bodies of water in a temperate climate3. The Plains were introduced in Update 22.0 and offer a variety of activities, including:
Day & Night Cycle: The Plains have a dynamic day and night cycle, affecting visibility and enemy spawns.
Weather: Weather conditions can change, adding to the immersive experience.
Spear Fishing: Players can fish using spears to catch various fish species.
Mining: Players can mine resources like Ferrite, Rubedo, Neurodes, and Detonite.
Hunting & Conservation: Players can hunt animals and participate in conservation efforts.
Bounties: Players can complete bounties to earn rewards and standing in Cetus.
Blinkpad: A teleportation device that allows players to quickly travel between Cetus and the Plains.
Caves: Explorable caves with unique enemies and resources.
